Sofia, March 2 (BTA) - At its regular meeting on Wednesday, Bulgaria's Council of Ministers adopted decisions and approved documents as reported by the Government Information Service:

- а а а аadopted a decision endorsing the complement of the Bulgarian part of the Mixed Expert Commission for the design of a new border crossing checkpoint between Bulgaria's Municipality of Strumyani, Blagoevgrad Region, and North MacedoniaТs Municipality of Berovo, Eastern Planning Region;

- а а а аamended Council of Ministers Decree No. 272 of 2019 determining the administrative authorities whose information systems will be maintained by Information Services JSC;

- а а а аadopted a decision approving a draft Biannual Agreement on Cooperation between BulgariaТs Health Ministry and the Regional Office for Europe of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the 2022-2023, under which WHO budgets 189,000 US dollars;

- а а а аapproved BulgariaТs participation in a joint position of EU Member States Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland on the termination of their membership in two multilateral development banks: the International Investment Bank (IIB) and the International Bank for Economic Cooperation (IBEC);

- а а а аapproved a request for the authorization of derogation regarding an extension of the deadline to apply the reverse charge mechanism of VAT on supplies of cereals and industrial crops;

- а а а аapproved a draft of a Memorandum of Cooperation in Tourism between BulgariaТs Ministry of Tourism and GeorgiaТs Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development as a basis for bilateral negotiations;

- а а а аadopted a decision on the gratuitous provision of released State reserves (medicinal products, medical devices and hospital equipment) for the needs of the Interior MinistryТs Directorate General for Fire Safety and Civil Protection as relief aid through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism for mitigating the effects of the military conflict in the territory of Ukraine;

- а а а аadopted the drafts of two technical agreements with a number of European countries on granting authorizations for border crossing by land and air transport, by which Bulgaria will honour commitments assumed under the EU Common Security and Defence Policy and thereby enhance defence capabilities to guarantee national security and integrate into collective defence.
