Bulgaria, Romania to Set Up Joint Tourist Information Centre
Sofia, November 28 (BTA) - Bulgaria and Romania will set up a
joint tourist information center to promote common tourist
products. This emerged Friday during meetings of Transport
Minister Nikolina Angelkova with Romanian Deputy Prime Minister
Liviu Dragnea and Romanian EU Funds Minister Eugen Teodorovici
in Bucharest, the Economy Ministry said.
"Romania is among Bulgaria's key tourist markets and partners
and bilateral relations in tourism are traditionally good," said
Transport Minister Angelkova. The two sides agreed to hold a
joint working meeting with representatives of the tourism
industry in Rousse in the second half of December to discuss the
details of a joint tourist information centre and possibilities
to promote common tourist products under the EU Danube
Strategy.
Minster Angelkova unveiled a forum in Bucharest showcasing
products by over 25 Bulgarian foods and beverages producers and
distributors.
