Sofia, August 6 (BTA) - Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has decreed the dissolution of the 42nd National Assembly, effective August 6, 2014, and the conduct of early parliamentary elections on October 5, 2014, the head of State's Press Secretariat said on Wednesday.

By another decree, the President appointed a caretaker cabinet headed by Prime Minister Georgi Bliznashki, effective August 6, 2014.
