Sofia, August 4 (BTA) - President Rosen Plevneliev Monday offered condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping for the numerous victims and serious damage caused by the devastating earthquake which struck Yunnan province on Sunday, the President's Press Secretariat said.

"Let me express heartfelt condolences and sympathy on behalf of the Bulgarian people, as well as my own, to the bereaved families and to those injured," Plevneliev said.
