Sofia, January 25 (BTA) - Bulgarian Defence Minister Stefan Yanev said here Tuesday that there is no build-up or deployment of troops by NATO or any other country in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Defence Ministry has not made a decision for such actions on Bulgarian territory, Yanev said during a hearing by the parliamentary Defence Committee.

According to him, neither Russia nor any other country intends to attack Bulgaria and an invasion on Bulgarian territory is not expected. The discussed measures are a demonstration of NATO's unity and a way to give a chance to diplomacy first, Yanev noted. RY/YV
