Six Tonnes of Amphetamines Seized at Varna Port

Varna, on the Black Sea, May 25 (BTA) - Six tonnes of amphetamines have been seized at the Port of Varna West, the Appellate Prosecution Office in the coastal city said in a press release Friday.

The drugs were found based on the risk analysis method. The amphetamines were hidden in 300 sacks within a container officially containing citric acid. According to the documents, the package was meant for a EU national.

Pre-trial proceedings have been launched, and the work on the case continues.
