Sofia, March 19 (BTA) - Bulgarian President Rumen Radev congratulated Vladimir Putin on his re-election as Russian President, said the President's Press Secretariat Monday.

"I hope that we will work together to utilize the existing potential for mutually advantageous cooperation in a variety of areas in the best interest of the two peoples," President Radev says.

He also notes the century-old historical and cultural closeness between the people of Bulgaria and Russia.
