Opposition BSP, MRF to Table No-Confidence Vote on January 17

Sofia, December 13 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) will table a vote of no-confidence in the third Borissov government on January 17. This emerged from a statement of the leaders of the two parties in Parliament on Wednesday.

The vote will be moved over widespread corruption in various areas. A working group from the two political formations will prepare the motives for the vote with concrete examples.

Asked how Bulgaria's European partners will perceive a vote of no-confidence in the government at the Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council, MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi said: "Quite positively."
