Tsvetan Tsvetanov to Participate in Migration Management Conference in Brussels

Sofia, June 20 (BTA) - Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Floor Leader and Deputy Chairman of Bulgaria's ruling GERB party, will take part in a High-Level Conference on Migration Management, which will be held in Brussels on June 21, GERB said on Tuesday.

The conference will be attended by senior officials from the European Parliament, the European Commission and national parliaments.

The participants will discuss ways to improve information sharing between national authorities and EU agencies, the protection of security in the Schengen area, the handling of illegal migration and system breaches, better sharing of responsibility for asylum seekers, and the combating of smuggling in human beings.

While in Brussels, Tsvetanov will hold a series of working meetings with representatives of the European People's Party, European commissioners and MEPs.
