Miner Killed in Bobov Dol Coal Mine Accident on Thursday Morning

Kyustendil, Southwestern Bulgaria, December 22 (BTA) - A miner was killed as a result of an accident at the Bobov Dol coal mine before 6 a.m. on Thursday, the Kyustendil Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry said in a press release.

The 51-year-old man was pressed by a coal unloading machine. He was rushed to hospital in Doupnitsa with severe injuries and died there later on.

The Kyustendil Labour Inspection Directorate is carrying out an on-site investigation, which will include inspections underground as well.
