Kozloduy N-Plant Unit Back Online Following Routine Repairs

Sofia, November 10 (BTA) - The operator of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant said its 1,000 MW Unit 6 was reconnected to the grid on Thursday following a routine annual overhaul.

The unit was taken offline on October 1.

Alongside the planned repairs, the unit's systems and equipment underwent a full checkup and the unit was also refuelled, the plant operator said.

Kozloduy's 1,000 MW Unit 5 is operating at full capacity.
