Parliament Schedules Presidential Elections for November 6

Sofia, July 29 (BTA) - The elections for Bulgaria's president and vice president will be held on November 6, a Sunday, Parliament decided Friday by adopting a decision proposed by MPs from GERB, the Reformist Bloc, the Patriotic Front, ABV, Bulgarian Democratic Centre - National Union, and Ataka.

BSP-Left Bulgaria proposed the elections to be held on October 23, while the Movement for Rights and Freedoms wanted them on October 30. These dates were rejected in Parliament.
