Supreme Judicial Council Elects Administrative Leader of Specialized Prosecution Office

Sofia, July 13 (BTA) - The prosecutors' college of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) elected an administrative leader of the specialized prosecution office. Ivan Geshev was elected on 9-1 votes, said the SJC.

Geshev has experience of over 17 years in various bodies of the judiciary. He has been an investigator at the Sofia Investigative Service and a prosecutor ay the Sofia District Prosecution Office and then the Sofia City Prosecution Office.

The specialized prosecution service was established in 2012 to prosecute cases of organized crime.
