Mestan's New Party Named Democrats for Responsibility, Freedom and Tolerance

Sofia, February 9 (BTA) - Democrats for Responsibility, Freedom and Tolerance  is the name of the new party of Lyutvi Mestan, the former leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF). Asked by a private television channel if the Bulgarian acronym, DOST, is the Turkish for "friend", he said such associations were plausible.
 
Lyutvi Mestan was ousted as MRF leader at a meeting of the party's Central Council on December 24, 2015.
