Rally Demands Resignation of Government

Sofia, January 28 (BTA) - Between 100 and 200 people take part in a rally in front of the Parliament building in Sofia demanding the resignation of the government. The rally, organized as a national protest on the social media, started at 3 p.m. More people are expected to join it.

Hundreds of police officers are at the venue of the protest.

Atanas Kalev who created a Facebook profile called "National Protest against the Outrages in Bulgaria" said the protest is held because "we want a normal life in a better Bulgaria".

The protesters are carrying placards reading "NATO Out," "Parties Out," "Resignation," and others.

The protest is proceeding calmly and the traffic in the area is not stopped.
