Justice Minister Meets with EU Notariats Council President

Sofia, June 18 (BTA) - Bulgarian Justice Minister Hristo Ivanov
met with Jean Tarrade, President of the Council of the Notariats
of the European Union, here on Thursday, the Justice Ministry
reported.

Ivanov stressed the importance of the fact that Sofia has
welcomed the most distinguished representatives of the notarial
profession in Europe and the world. He praised the performance
of Bulgarian notaries and the good cooperation between the
Justice Ministry and the Notary Chamber of Bulgaria.

Tarrade said that he is familiar with the achievements and
challenges of Bulgarian notaries. He identified the priorities
of EU notariats relevant to EUFides, a shared platform which
makes it easier for European notaries to work together on
cross-border files, as a factor for security and efficiency.
