US Army Europe Commanding General Expected in Sofia

Sofia, May 31 (BTA) - Lieutenant General Frederick "Ben" Hodges,
Commanding General of the United States Army Europe, will pay a
visit to Bulgaria between Monday and Tuesday, the Defence
Ministry in Sofia reported on Sunday.

On the first day of his visit Lt. Gen. Hodges will meet with the
political and military leadership of the Defence Ministry and
the Bulgarian Armed Forces.

Chief of Defence, Vice Admiral Roumen Nikolov, and Lt. Gen.
Hodges will make brief statements for the media on Monday.
