Ministry reported.
Angelkova also met with Gerald Lawless, CEO of the Jumeirah
Group, which is the biggest owner of luxurious hotels, and

In her lecture within the "Tourism Restart" discussion,
Angelkova put an emphasis on the investment opportunities in

The transformation of Bulgaria into a "one-stop-shop" for big
investors through easier administrative procedures for their

Bulgarian tourism's sustainable development, she said.
"A total of 200 million Chinese citizens travel to Europe - this
creates an opportunity which requires a global approach and
interaction," Angelkova also said. She quoted national
statistical data, according to which over 7.3 million foreign
tourists visited Bulgaria in 2014, which is an increase by 6 per
cent compared to 2013, and the revenues from international
tourism exceeded 3.1 billion euro last year. Angelkova also
talked about the tourism sector's digitalization and the
challenges and opportunities it offers.
During her visit to Jordan, the Bulgarian Tourism Minister held
meetings with Nayef H. Al-fayez, the Jordanian Minister of
Tourism and Antiquities, Amjad Maslamani, the owner of the Fly
Jordan air carrier, Captain Haitham Misto, President of the
