Second Super Giant Slalom of
Alpine Skiing World Cup Women's
Championships in Bansko Cancelled


Bansko, Southwestern Bulgaria, February 28 (BTA) - The super
giant slalom of the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup Women's
Championships in Bansko scheduled for Saturday was cancelled due
to fog.

The race started at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday as scheduled, but the
organizers had to interrupt it several times due to poor
visibility. Only 13 racers came down before the jury decided to
cancel the race.

The cancellation comes a day after the first super-G race of the
week was postponed from February 27 to March 2 due to fog.
