Strongly Condemns
Shootings in Copenhagen


Sofia, February 15 (BTA) - Bulgaria strongly condemns the
shootings in Copenhagen which claimed lives and injured innocent
civilians, reads a statement of Foreign Minister Daniel Mitev
circulated by his ministry's press centre on Sunday.

"This appears to be another terrorist attack targeted at one of
our fundamental values - the freedom of speech. We will not
allow fear to conquer Europe," Mitov says in the statement.

"We offer our sympathy and condolences to the Danish people. In
these challenging times, we will stay united against extremism
and violence and we will fight them with all democratic means,"
the Bulgarian Foreign Minister states.
