Economy Minister: There Is Shortage of  Technical Staff in Industry


Veliko Turnovo, February 14 (BTA) - There is a shortage of
technical staff for the industrial sector, Economy Minister
Bozhidar Loukarski told journalists in Veliko Turnovo. A
programme complied with the real demands of the business should
be drafted jointly with the Education Ministry, he added.

The performance of the Economy Ministry should be assessed by
the business and not by the political elite. He pointed out
improvement of the business environment, reduction of the
administrative burden and promotion of investments as part of
the Ministry's priorities. The funds under OP Innovations and
Competitiveness will be designed mostly for production
activities employing new technologies.
