Sofia, February 5 (BTA) - An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the
Richter scale was registered in the eastern Balkan Range on
Thursday morning, said the National Institute for Geophysics,
Geodesy and Geography with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The quake was epicentred a few kilometers north of the village
of Binkos, near Sliven, at a depth of 2.9 km.

No injuries or damage are reported. LN/LY/
