IOC Evaluates PyeongChang Games Positively
The International Olympic Committee gave a thumbs-up to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics at the halfway mark.
During a press conference at the Main Press Centre in PyeongChang on Sunday, Christophe Dubi, the Olympic Games executive director for the IOC, said the IOC is very satisfied with the conditions and quality of play, adding that this is the result of the organizers' efforts.
He added that ticket sales have also exceeded expectations at most venues.
